Comfort is primary at all of our events. If an event has specific dress requirements, they will be detailed in the information provided for that event.

What should I bring?

Non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Light appetizers are provided at some events. You are welcome to bring something to share but it is not required or expected. Please note, we do not allow alcohol on our premises.

Where can I park?

Ample street parking is available in the area. There is a paid lot at the east end of Harrison. Do not park in the west parking lot; this is a private parking lot and you may be towed.

What is the Sharma Center about?

The Sharma Center is a non-profit community center helping people that are exploring what they want in the areas of love, relationship and sexuality. It is dedicated to building communities to support those interested or involved in alternative sexual relationships and to promote understanding, communication, skill and practice in alternative intimate relationships by providing educational resources and experiential opportunities.

Do I have to join to attend an event?

Educational offerings are open to members and non-members. Check calender to see all details for each event.

How do I join The Sharma Center?

Just let us know that you wish to become a member at one of our events. There is some required paperwork and show proof of age, over 18 years. Membership is annual at $20 a person. What is the typical age range?

All participants must be 18 years or older to participate in events. Proof of age must be provided. Participant age ranges vary from 18-60+.

Are single men allowed?

Yes, we have a wide variety of events that singles can go to. Singles are usually welcome to all events during the week. Some events, especially weekends are gender balanced so always check the calender for details of who can attend that events. Single men have a hard time breaking into lifestyle communities, I strongly recommend that if you want to become involved then attend events during the week and get to know people. Volunteering is also a great way to get started here.

What is the typical attendance at an event?

The space is intimate and events are limited to 50 attendees. Please RSVP or call to let us know you are attending, due to the limits of our space please let us know as soon as possible if there is a change in your plans so others can be invited.

Do I have to do something at an event?

No, The Sharma Center is focused on education, building community, networking, and connecting people with resources in the alternative sexual community. Just come to an event and socializing is encouraged. We are here to answer questions and talk about alternative lifestyles.

How do I join your e-mail list?

Go to www.sharmacenter.org and click on the subscribe key to join our email list. You will receive monthly update of the events for that month and special notices.

Is this a sex club?

No, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and supporting members in the areas of love, realatiuonship, and sexuality.

Can I get a discount?

We are not offering discounts at this time. The Sharma Center is a non-profit community center and strives to make events affordable to all. Members do receive a discount at some events.

How do I volunteer?
